Rico (B.Hendrikx, Lage-Wierde) mix Malinois male † sept. 2009 pedigree: BRN 2116 F: Duco II (R. Seegers, Stokkum) pedigree: BRN 60 M: Tanja (B. Verbuchelen) pedigree: BRN 2757 PH1, 438 cl (P.Sommers, ‘s-Heerenberg) Saturday the 10th of januari. around 11:30 hrs the first pup

is born, followed by 5 more till about 17:30 uur, subtotal 3

males and 3 females, nice healthy dark pigmented pups.

After that it stays still, no sign of more pups comming, Tess

is in very good condition and feeds and takes care of her

pups like a good breeding bitch should. Sunday we decided definitive for an operation to get the

rest of the pups. A pup (dead already for a couple of days)

was the reason of the complication. We managed to save

two more females which brings us to a total of 5 males and

3 females, a wonderfull litter. Till 6:30 hrs on monday

morning everything seemed to go perfect.

At 8:30 hrs when we went to the kennel again we found

Tess dead !! A terrible shock, it looks unbelievable but

there's not much more time to grieve. Like a reflex we began worrying about the noisy puppies who where hungry

and wouldn't survive if we didn't react fast. Feeding them one by one by bottle, phoning contacts and searching the

internet for just born litters, finally we found the perfect solution via Peter Sommers. A good contact of him, Tini van

der Doelen, had a litter Mali's on friday with only two pups and is willing to join them with our complete litter. This

breeding bitch accepted our pups and started feeding them. In a couple of days we know for sure if it works out to be

fine but till now where very positive about it.

We like to use this oportunaty to thank everybody who spontaniously offered their help, offered to join 1 or 2 pups to

their own litter (sometimes of even 8-9 puppies large), yes even a breeding bitch was offered who just had left her

own 6 week old puppies. Realy super, we didn't expected so much understanding and help. Without your help our

puppies wouldn't survive. THANKS !!
